Our building engineering specialists have expertise in structural and building services engineering, fire engineering, acoustics, facades and seismic design\. We embed sustainability principles in every design\. **Job Summary** + Act as a Resident Site Supervisor for building projects in compliance with the Building Control Act and Regulations + Supervise contractors’ works and ensure material specifications, workmanship and quality control for all works are in compliance with the contract requirement, Building Control Act and Regulations + Inspection of drawings, documents and reports on discrepancies, on\-site safety, security and general housekeeping + Liaise and coordinate with contractors’ agents, consultants, employer’s representatives and relevant authorities for the smooth execution of the works + Handle contractors’ queries, report and verify claims within the provisions of the construction Contract + Carry out inspection and taking over of completed work + To assist in handover of building to end user if required **Minimum Requirements** + Minimum 10 years’ experience as Resident Engineer and registered with Building and Construction Authority + Experience in institutional healthcare projects + Experience in steel construction is an advantage + Experience in building works such as Architectural and M&E works are preferred + Conversant in statutory code and requirements for site supervision, quality control procedures, construction administration and submission of progress report + Strong supervision and leadership skills is pre\-requisite + Good interpersonal skills and a team player **Preferred Qualifications** + Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering from a University recognised by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore **What We Offer** AECOM is a place where you can put your innovative thinking and business skills into high gear and work alongside other highly intelligent and motivated people\.
