**Job Summary** AECOM, the largest global engineering design firm, has a challenging opportunity for a full\-time graduate engineer in the Fire Protection Engineering Group of the Cleveland, Ohio office\. The AECOM Cleveland Office has full\-service architectural/engineering capabilities in the Theatre District of downtown Cleveland with a project portfolio that extends globally\. The Fire Protection Engineering Group is part of the Buildings \+ Places Business Line\.
Responsibilities for the position include, but are not limited to:
+ Preparation of engineering reports, drawings, and specifications associated with the application of building and fire codes and design of fire alarm and fire suppression systems for a variety of buildings, facilities, and occupancies, including healthcare, industrial, college/university, and transportation
**Minimum Requirements**
+ Bachelors degree in related engineering field or equivalent
+ Assistance with the preparation of engineering reports and design drawings
+ Ability to work on several projects simultaneously
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills
+ Ability to work well with a team, including those in other offices
+ Ability to read and apply buildings codes and standards to design projects
+ Perform hydraulic calculations
+ Conduct field inspections of installed systems
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Knowledge of national model building and fire codes \(ICC Series, NFPA, etc\.\)
+ Experience with the fire service
+ Familiarity with Autodesk programs \(AutoCAD, REVIT, etc\.\)
+ Detail\-oriented and internally motivated
