**About the Business Line** **Water**
We create comprehensive delivery solutions for water, wastewater and wet weather systems, desalination, water resources, water reuse, tunneling, and community infrastructure through traditional and alternative delivery services such as program management and design\-build\.
**Job Summary** The Dallas, TX, AECOM Office is currently seeking a Hydraulic Engineer to design and oversee matters pertaining to civil engineering design, hydrology, hydraulics, and water control management\. In this role, you’ll collaborate with others to solve problems regarding to hydraulic data and studies for the preparation of engineering reports\. You will review and document specifications and create reports and ensure policies and regulations are adhered to\.
**Minimum Requirements**
+ Bachelor's Degree in civil engineering or related field
+ 5\+ years of relevant experience
+ Professional Engineer \(PE\) registration
+ Knowledge of hydraulic and hydraulic modeling concept and principles
+ Experience with hydraulic models \(HEC\-HMS, HEC\-RAS, HEC Geo\-HMS and HEC\-GeoRAS, Bentley Package\)
+ Experience with ArcGIS for desktops
+ Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation
+ Able to independently or under limited supervision prepare design calculations or reports
+ Knowledgeable of surveying and mapping standards
+ Experienced in the set up and production of engineering drawings
+ Excellent oral and written communication skills

+ Able to research and verify that applicable codes and engineering standards and practices are being met
+ Flexible and adaptable to work in multiple teams working on different civil engineering and water resources projects
+ Flexible to cope with demanding project datelines and occasional heavy work load
