Minimum Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in an engineering or related scientific field and 3 years of experience or equivalent is required. Bachelor's in Information Technology with a focus on Security Engineering highly desired. Combination of experience and certifications will be considered in lieu of degree.
- Distributed Integration Interoperability Assessment Capability (DIIAC) Operations support experience to execute the programs T&E/V&V strategy, plans, and schedule in collaboration with stakeholders, to help ensure DIIAC systems meet requirements, and the program meets key test requirements and milestones.
- Expertise to assist in the development, integration and testing of software solutions for the simulation systems used in the land based test facilities (such as the CCD) and assist with efforts to incorporate simulation development into the OPSCEN laboratory (such as the Pelorus Scenario Generator).
- Experience with operational test support during DIIAC and MTMD test exercises and events and post-test reporting as required.
- Experience participating in the planning of testing infrastructures for the integration and interaction of fielded existing and legacy Combat and Enterprise platforms for proper interoperability assessment and certification.
- Experience reviewing and critiquing DIIAC/MTMD documentation for technical and programmatic consistency - review and conduct technical reviews on other related Simulation documents for distributed testing.
- Expertise in Tadils(Link11/16) and combat systems.
- Prior related military experience is desired.
- Position requires an Active Security Clearance.
- Position may require travel.
- Working core hours are 8am-5pm. There will be times when there is a need to work outside the core hours when DIIAC/MTMD testing is scheduled. Most of the time testing is scheduled from 1600-2400.
Job Description: AECOM is seeking a Verification and Validation Engineer to support the DIIAC Operations Center.
Essential Responsibilities include:
1. Participate in the planning of testing infrastructures for the integration and interaction of fielded existing and legacy Combat and Enterprise platforms for proper interoperability assessment and certification
2. Assist in maintaining Standard Operating Procedures and all supporting documentation relevant to the DIIAC Operations Center, such as DIIAC Capabilities and Limitations (CAPS & LIMS), DIIAC High Level CAPS & LIMS, DIIAC Interface Control Document, and DIIAC V&V Master Plan.
3. Provide V&V support of DIIAC and MTMD events including scenario development, data recording, data analysis and troubleshooting of post Test Observation Reports (TORs), synopsis of issues, participation in simulation/stimulation relevant conferences - Products may include white papers, inputs for financial planning, TOR metrics and inputs/updates to strategic & business plans
4. Support the multiple platform integration of the various geographically disbursed test beds as required to fully integrate all DIIAC test systems - provide ongoing technical expertise to perform integration V&V events; configuration, operation, and verification of the test platforms for Interoperability Certification and Development testing
5. Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
