**About the Business Line** **Building Engineering**
We deliver creative solutions for building projects for industry, government, commercial and leisure sectors\. **Job Summary** AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Project Architect for immediate employment in the Indianapolis, IN office\. The appropriately qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate an established career in architecture, specific to health care, college and university, primary education and industrial facilities\. AECOM is proud to provide our employees with exciting, challenging projects\. The incumbent can look forward to projects including work with the Department of Veterans Affairs, Industrial clients, Colleges and Universities and primary education clients\.
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
+ Perform entry level Architectural tasks
+ Gather and maintain specified records of architectural data such as drawings, etc\.
+ Produce architectural drawings and concepts using Revit and Autocad software
+ Prepare graphical drawing and rendering displays for public hearings and presentations
+ Research, plan, design, and administer building projects for clients, applying knowledge of design, construction procedures, zoning and building codes, and building materials
+ Consult with client to determine functional and spatial requirements of new structure or renovation, and prepare information regarding design, specifications, materials, color, equipment, estimated costs, and construction time
+ Plan layout of project and integrate engineering elements into unified design for client review and approval
+ Prepare studies and reports
+ Maintain records, files and other documents
+ Perform all other architect/ office work as required
**Minimum Requirements**
+ Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited Architecture program
+ Minimum 3\+ years of experience including developing construction drawings and specifications for institutional, commercial and federal projects
+ Field experience with observing construction progress and capable of providing construction administrative services
+ Versed in Autocad or Microstation, Revit BIM, Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Office
+ Ability to communicate with clients and peers
+ Valid driver's license
