We provide services such as program management, construction management and owner’s representation to our clients around the globe\. **Job Summary** The successful candidate will play a key role in the success of our Federal construction and design\-build practice\. Candidate will implement and manage the Three Phase of Quality Control plan for design\-build and construction projects to ensure conformance with project plans and specifications\. Responsibilities include supporting the Site QC Manager with scheduling and coordinating testing and inspection of the work, checking submittals for compliance, maintaining testing plans and submittal register, and preparing and submitting QC documentation\. Our immediate work is for a fuel pier replacement project which includes demolishion of the existing pier and fuel piping and construction of a new concrete fuel pier and fire suppression system\. The successful Assistant Project Manager will have experience with waterfront and port operations or similar installations\. The Assistant Project Manager will support Quality Control technical specialists, assist as necessary with SWPPP plans and environmental protection plans, help ensure all commissioning and close out documents comply with contract requirements\. Will work closely with senior management, construction team, designers, subcontractors, safety personnel, and clients\. The Assistant Project Manager will be an integral member of our construction practice\. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed above\. **Minimum Requirements** + College degree or equivalent years of experience in project or construction management, with experience on Federal project construction work + 5\+ years of experience on construction projects with some project management, QC, or project engineer experience for range of heavy civil, building, or industrial projects + Must have EM 385\.1\.1 training, OSHA 30 hour, CQMC Certificate from NAVFAC or Corps of Engineers + Knowledge of scheduling \(P6\), Microsoft Programs, Adobe, etc\. for electronic preparation of documents, reports, etc\. + Must be able to work at remote sites on military bases OCONUS + Must have a valid driver’s license and passport **Preferred Qualifications** + BS in engineering **What We Offer** AECOM is a place where you can put your innovative thinking and business skills into high gear and work alongside other highly intelligent and motivated people\.
