More information on AECOM and its services can be found at www\.aecom\.com\. **About the Business Line** **Water** We create comprehensive delivery solutions for water, wastewater and wet weather systems, desalination, water resources, water reuse, tunneling, and community infrastructure through traditional and alternative delivery services such as program management and design\-build\. **Job Summary** The Water Division of AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented entry\-level **Water Resource Engineer** for immediate employment in the Dallas, TX office\. This entry\-level position is geared towards quick learners, who make good decisions and take personal joy in delivering quality products on time, every time\. The position will report to the Water Resources Area Market Sector Lead \(AMSL\) for Dallas\-Fort Worth and will be trained and mentored by the AMSL on a daily basis\. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: + Performing basic hydrologic and hydraulic calculations using standard programs and checking model results by hand + Reviewing standards, ordinances, permitting procedures to evaluate compliance with local, state, and federal policies + Writing reports and preparing exhibits + Always evaluating/devising ways to streamline daily processes using new technology or software + Maintaining superior communication with all team members at all times during the project lifecycle **Minimum Requirements** + Civil Engineering Undergraduate Degree from an ABET accredited University + 0\-2 years of experience + Motivated and self\-driven to perform good quality work, amenable and receptive to input from senior engineers on work performed, and willing to work in a team setting + Good communication skills and team first mind\-set is important + Should be skillful in good technical writing and be able to pick up good writing techniques quickly on the job + Engineer in Training Certification in the State of Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment **Preferred Qualifications** + Masters with Water Resources as the primary focus from an ABET Accredited University + Experience working with ArcGIS, AutoCAD and Microstation desired **What We Offer** AECOM is a place where you can put your innovative thinking and business skills into high gear and work alongside other highly intelligent and motivated people\.
