More information on AECOM and its services can be found at www\.aecom\.com\. **About the Business Line** **Energy** We address the complete spectrum of energy challenges, including clean and renewable energy, energy efficiency and carbon management, hydropower and dams, thermal, geothermal and wind power generation, and transmission and distribution\. **Job Summary** This is an experienced project management position with responsibilities in design build project and construction management\. AECOM is a certified Energy Services Company \(ESCO\) and holds several Federal and municipal Energy Savings Performance Contracting \(ESPC\) contracts\. AECOM is the general contractor on these ESPC projects, with responsibility from initial development through final acceptance, often with multi\-year service agreements for ongoing operations & maintenance and measurement & verification\. The successful candidate shall serve as the Project Manager on design build energy efficiency projects for AECOM’s Energy Efficiency Center of Excellence\. Projects will range in size from $5\-50M\. The Project Manager assumes responsibility for the project after the initial scoping is complete, and the client has accepted the budgetary cost and savings\. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: + Oversight of onsite field construction of new energy efficiency projects that involve installation of large mechanical and electrical equipment and systems + Consult with internal subject matter experts and external design engineers to provide on\-going improvements and report documentation; definitions; and methods and procedures associated with complex utility plan sequence of operations + Perform project planning and scheduling using project management and collaboration software including Primavera Project Planner and MS Project + Perform contract administration and conduct weekly meetings with subcontractors to review recently completed work, plan upcoming work, and reconcile issues as they arise + Monitor project progress, safety, quality, schedule and overall performance + Review technical specifications, reconcile design issues and perform quality check of final deliveries + Prepare project proposals, develop and maintain the relevant standards, policies and procedures; review and recommend approval of invoices and change orders + Review project budget and schedule changes and take appropriate actions to offset any negative effect on the budget and schedule + Train, mentor, and develop staff + Review and approve construction material submittals Position will require travel, estimated to be 25\-50% depending on project location and phase\. Office location is Arlington, VA\. Telework may be authorized on a limited basis\. **Minimum Requirements** + Bachelors of Science in Engineering or Construction Management + Critical skills include leadership, client management, problem solving, risk management, communication, teamwork \(especially with geographic dispersion\), and the ability to deliver high quality and creative solutions in a fast\-paced and ever\-evolving industry + General technical understanding with ability of managing multi\-discipline technical teams + Mastery of project controls best practices expected \(i\.e\.
