Minimum Requirements: Minimum Requirements:
• Associates degree in an engineering or design discipline.
• Less than 12 months of relevant post graduate professional experience.
• Capability to work across discipline boundaries and support all on site disciplines (Electrical, Mechanical, Structural and I&C) with basic CAD support and drawing / document identification and gathering to support design development.
• Proficiency in use of MicroStation CAD software.
• Must be able to obtain full access to a Nuclear Power Plant.
• Due to the nature of the work, candidate must be a US Citizen or a Permanent Resident of the United States (Green Card holder).
Preferred Requirements:
• Capability with 2D plant design
• Previous internship with URS or AECOM.

Position Description:
Responsible for performing plant support of operating nuclear power plants including but not limited to conducting site walkdowns for assessment of existing systems and equipment conditions, designing and implementing modifications, performing engineering studies and reports, cost estimates and schedules, and proposal development.
Responsibilities:
• Use MicroStation CAD software and other software to prepare project design sketches and final CAD markups of existing nuclear and utility client drawings.
• Travel to client field locations to gather information on existing equipment to aid in the creation of project documentation.
• Interpret and apply client CAD standards into design.
• Develop Bills of Materials for new construction drawings.
• Review rough/preliminary sketches, drawings, specifications, and other engineering data received from engineers, to ensure that they conform to design concepts.
• Up to 5% travel to field locations is anticipated
• This position may be eligible for situation offsite work
