More information on AECOM and its services can be found at www\.aecom\.com\. **About the Business Line** **Environment** Our team of environment specialists offers clients expertise in air quality, impact analysis and permitting, environmental health and safety management consulting/due diligence, remediation consulting/engineering and construction/site restoration, specialty and emerging technologies, waste services and water and natural resources\. **Job Summary** + Perform field investigations to define the nature and extent of soil, sediment, groundwater and other media contamination; + Field oversight for drilling, remediation, construction, and emergency response projects; + Lead and support safety operations in the field\. Performing work safely is our highest priority + Assist in preparation and evaluation of analytical data; + Execute specific defined tasks in accordance with accepted guidelines and regulation \(i\.e\. industry standard practices or government regulations \); + Develop statements of work for subcontractors; + Assist in writing work plans and reports in a concise technical manner according to the applicable project specific guidance; + Work effectively with multiple personnel , as project manager, GIS specialists, waste specialists etc; + Must have the ability to balance and meet multiple deadlines\. + Responsible for supporting environmental restoration projects to include investigations and remedial actions; **Personal attributes:** + Ability to apply analytical or scientific thinking to define and solve problems and be able to execute field and office tasks; + Requires willingness to work outdoors collecting environmental information; + Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing; + Ability to work effectively with team members as well as independently\. **Minimum Requirements** + Basic knowledge of geology and hydrogeology + 40\-hour OSHA training preferred; + Must be proficient in MS Office application software such as Excel and Word; Autocad is a plus; + Travel required\. + Driver license **Preferred Qualifications** BSc Environmental Science\. **What We Offer** AECOM is a place where you can put your innovative thinking and business skills into high gear and work alongside other highly intelligent and motivated people\.
