In the United States, we provide engineering services and critical technical support to virtually every federal agency, including the Departments of Defense, Energy, State and Homeland Security, as well as NASA, the Intelligence Community and the Environmental Protection Agency. The minimum requirements for this position are as follows: MUST POSSESS A CURRENT TS/SCI SECURITY CLEARANCE. This position requires a high school graduate with at least three years experience in Air Force or DOD Security Operations. Experience with vault procedures, and knowledge of handling processes for control and accountability. Requires familiarity with DOD personal security processes. Experience with PC systems: software and basic hardware setups. Small project management skills: planning, implementing and completing simple projects. Proven communication and organizational skills. Experience with Microsoft Office Applications. Possess a current State issued drivers license. Job Description: Under general supervision, performs the administrative duties and tasks to support unit security requirements to safeguard U.S. government-owned facilities, infrastructure, property and equipment. •Acts as a courier, logs, stores, inventories and controls all physical data and magnetic media from multiple programs. •Supports management of security clearances, key control, vault combination control and document destruction procedures. •Issues security badges to designated employees and visitors. Maintain logs and records of badges issued and related information. •Interacts with system/network administrators to ensure an effective information security program. •Assists in facilitating security briefings and training for individuals/groups as required. •Assures strict adherence and accountability to all security directives. •Performs other position related duties as requested.
