**Job Summary** **Job Summary**
AECOM have an exciting opportunity for a Professional Structural Engineer to join our building structures team\. The role is ideal for professionals with strong technical backgrounds who are looking for the next step in their career and have an interest in developing detailed design solutions and being responsible for the delivery of a range of exciting structural engineering projects\. The person appointed will be responsible for the technical, on time and on budget delivery of these projects\.
**Minimum Requirements** **As a professional structural engineer you will:**
• Provide technical structural engineering design\.
• Carry out general engineering duties to ensure quality and systems/process requirements are achieved\.
• Undertake site inspections and prepare reports\.
• Proactively identify opportunities for improvement\.
• Be an active member of the structural engineering team and contribute to the team’s success\.
**Preferred Qualifications** **Ideally you will have:**
• Demonstrated experience in the structural engineering field\.
• Demonstrated experience in working in dedicated teams
• Demonstrated experience in preparing technical design documentation\.
• Ability to achieve and maintain high levels of quality and consistency of outputs\.
• Ability to work autonomously and take responsibility for quality of deliverables and meeting deadlines
• Exceptional levels of written and oral communication
• Able to work full\-time\.
