**Job Summary**
Package Manager for Security and Communication package of large infrastructure Project inclusive of designing local area networks \(LANs\), intranets, and other data communications systems\. Creates, tests, and evaluates networks\.
**Minimum Requirements**
Design, test, and inspect data communications systems\.
Perform network modeling, analysis, and planning\.
Experienced in installation methods for hardware such as Optical Fiber Cable, Switches routers, and wireless adaptors\.
Analyze, engineer, and execute software functions\.
Develop test plans, implementation plans, and project timelines for various projects\.
Manage technology vendors\.
Stay abreast of how technology infrastructures are currently impacting and driving competitors\.
Write functional requirements/specifications documents\.
Assess vendor development/test strategies\.
Knowledgeable in application transport and network infrastructure protocols \(SSL/TLS, DNS, DHCP, WINS, NTP, FTP, HTTP, SMTP, CIFS, LDAP and possess an understanding of how to support these applications / protocols when accessed through VPN and firewall appliances\.
Understanding and implementation of network traffic analysis, remote access methods and systems, stateful inspection firewalls, encryption, authentication and authorization technology\.
Hands\-‐on technical experience working with VPN technologies \(IPSEC, SSL VPN, WebVPN, AnyConnect, DMVPN, etc\.\)\.
Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technologies and products, independently using documentation and online resources\.
**Preferred Qualifications**
BE \(Computers/ Telecom\)
Master’s Degree is desirable
