Oracle 11g OCA and Oracle 11g RAC certifications are preferred. Desired 5 or more years experience with each the following: • Maintaining large scale Oracle database, including installation, configuration, administration, backup & recovery, SQL, migration & tuning; • DBMS & OS technologies; • Oracle DBA (10g/11g), RMAN & RAC; • HA technologies, Golden Gate replication, Oracle Data Guard & TSM Storage System; • Database tools like Oracle Enterprise Manager, Toad, DBArtisan or SQL Developer.• Job Description: AECOM has an opportunity for a Mid-Level Oracle (Production) DBA to join our team supporting the Dept of State in Rosslyn, VA. The position requires at minimum an Active Secret clearance with TS eligibility; ACTIVE TS is strongly preferred. The Database Administrator is responsible for all phases of database administration including database design, performance tuning, backup & recovery, security, disaster recovery, & capacity management. Responsibilities include: • Install, configure & manage for RAC & non-RAC Oracle database environment with or without ASM storage; • Perform database backup & recovery; • Implement & maintain database security; • Create & maintain users, roles & assign privileges; • Provide support for analyzing space management for production & non-production server with or without ASM; • Perform database tuning & performance monitoring; • Perform application tuning & performance monitoring; • Perform troubleshooting & consultation to development teams; • Interface with Oracle for technical support; • Perform patch management & version control; • Design, test, implement, maintain & control production & non-production databases; • Provide support for production environments; • Provide support for database maintenance, application releases, disaster recovery, database upgrades & patching; • Provide expertise to application developers in SQL coding & tuning, coding & deployment of stored procedures.
