**About the Business Line** **Water**
We create comprehensive delivery solutions for water, wastewater and wet weather systems, desalination, water resources, water reuse, tunneling, and community infrastructure through traditional and alternative delivery services such as program management and design\-build\.
**Job Summary** AECOM is seeking a full\-time **Senior GIS Analyst** professional for the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania office location\.
Responsibilities include:
+ Utilizes GIS techniques and software to provide a better understanding of certain variables in a given geographic location
+ Provides expertise of fully competent GIS practitioner to all conventional aspects of functional area and applies management of spatial and non\-spatial information in accordance with industry standards
+ Provides documentation on the source and evolution of spatial data
+ Produces spatial and non\-spatial data while ensuring accuracy and logical consistency in processing and output
+ Operates independently with minimal supervision\. May serve as lead GIS consultant on projects
+ Work assignments involve considerably complex GIS studies and require advanced techniques and modification and extension of theories, precepts and practices\. Independently executes and delivers GIS projects of moderate to significant scope and complexity
+ Extensive experience working with ArcGIS and geospatial databases
+ Manage, edit, and maintain wastewater system datasets supportive of regional asset management program
+ Validate and edit sewer network data
+ Create, collect, convert, and integrate geospatial datasets
+ Ensure that information management quality assurance procedures comply with AECOM standards and procedures
+ Perform geospatial analyses
+ Produce a variety of mapping products for presentation
+ Analyze technical problems and devise new approaches and alternative solutions
+ Direct the work of level I and II GIS Specialists
+ Prepare GIS datasets for integration with ArcGIS Server/ArcGIS Online
**Minimum Requirements**
+ Bachelors Degree in GIS, Geography, Planning, Environmental Science, Engineering, Computer Science or related field
+ 8\+ years of wastewater and storm water conveyance systems and water transmission networks
+ Fluency in ArcGIS Suite 10\.X
+ Knowledge of cartography, coordinate systems, map projections, and pipe network topologies
+ Working knowledge of Enterprise database systems \(ArcGIS for Server\)
+ Knowledge of mobile data collection and GPS techniques
+ Experience supporting web\-based GIS services \(ArcGIS Online\)
+ Working knowledge of multi\-user environments \(ex\. CITRIX\)
+ Excellent communication and presentation skills
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Masters Degree in GIS, Geography, Planning, Environmental Science, Engineering, Computer Science or related field
+ Knowledge of various data types such as CAD, GPS, flat files and ability to convert and work with them in GIS environment
+ Python, Java script, and SQL experience
+ Innovyze InfoNet and Microsoft SharePoint experience
+ Experience working in engineering consulting industry
+ GISP, ESRI Technical Certification, and/or PMP
