**About the Business Line** **Environment**
Our team of environment specialists offers clients expertise in air quality, impact analysis and permitting, environmental health and safety management consulting/due diligence, remediation consulting/engineering and construction/site restoration, specialty and emerging technologies, waste services and water and natural resources\.
**Job Summary** **Closing date for applications is Tuesday 4th August\. Salary will be £26500\.**
Due to continued growth AECOM have opportunities for Senior or Principal EIA consultants to join their team in Scotland\. You will be joining an established Environmental Impact Assessment team where you will play key role managing EIA projects and developing new business within the energy sector\. The role will involve delivering feasibility studies and EIAs for renewable projects, focusing on managing multi\-disciplinary teams through the consenting process\.
Responsibilities would include:
• Management and coordination of multi\-disciplinary project teams\.
• Production of Environmental Statements and other planning material\.
• Business development with new and existing clients\.
• Tender and proposal preparation\.
• Mentoring of junior staff\.
**Minimum Requirements** Candidates should have 5 years experience in EIA, preferably in onshore wind and/or electricity transmission\. You should have a background in environmental sciences or planning and be conversant with EIA and planning regulations and procedures\. Experience of an EIA discipline e\.g\. hydrology, ecology, etc would be advantageous\.
**Preferred Qualifications** You will have appropriate qualifications to BSc or MSc level\.
