**Job Summary** AECOM’s Salt Lake City team is actively searching for a **Construction Estimator** with heavy aviation experience\. This individual is responsible to prepare estimates for a variety of project types across the program that consists of multiple disciplines\. This individual is accountable to provide accurate, consistent and reasoned estimates according to industry best practices\. In addition, this individual is responsible to provide excellent knowledge of estimating for civil works of all disciplines, including demolitions, earthwork, roadways, car parking, fencing, landscaping, building substructure and superstructure systems, airside infrastructure \(runways, taxiways, hardstands, tunnels, etc\.\) and landside infrastructure \(roadways, bridges, tunnels, interchanges, rail works, etc\.\)\. Other areas include vertical structures and building systems such as parking garages, terminal buildings and associated works, central utility plants, etc\.
**Minimum Requirements**
+ 8\+ years of estimating experience
+ Candidate must be familiar with the various contract delivery methods \(for example design\-bid\-build, design\-build, and construction manager at risk\)
+ Excellent understanding of construction materials, means, methods and contract delivery types
+ Expert in the use of common construction estimating data
+ Strong understanding of Salt Lake City market pricing
+ Fully versed in the use of estimating and tracking software
+ Highly proficient in reviewing cost estimates and estimate change requests
+ Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
+ Strong supervisory skills
+ Strong problem\-solving skills
+ Strong analytical skills
+ Experience on major $200 million program at major US hub airport
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ 15\+ years of experience preferred
