Minimum Requirements: Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from a four-year accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience.
• Must have a Professional Engineering License.
• Due to the nature of the work, candidates must be US Citizens or Permanent Residents of the United States (Green Card holders).
Preferred Qualifications:
• Active PE in NC or SC.
• Active NCEES record or ability/willingness to obtain NCEES record.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience working at a nuclear power plant and/or for an engineering firm providing services to nuclear power plants.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Lead Engineer or Supervisor for teams of 8 or more.
• Ability to read and understand schedules, performance reports, and budget reports including logic ties, CPI and SPI.
• Understanding of the earned value management system.
• Ability to drive teams to meet quality, schedule, and budget requirements.
• Ability to motivate individuals and hold them accountable.
• Ability to mentor early career engineers.
• Ability to develop and/or provide technical reviews for:
o Engineering change packages
o Calculations
o Specifications
o Engineering studies
• Experience supporting procurement and construction activities including equipment dedication and resolving field change requests.
• Experience in resolving condition reports and developing apparent cause/root cause analyses.
