**Job Summary** AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Civil Engineer for immediate employment for the Orange, CA office\. The selected candidate will provide Construction Management and Inspection services on highway/bridge projects in Southern California\. AECOM is proud to provide our employees with exciting, challenging projects\.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below:
Perform engineering inspection during all phases of construction for highways, bridges, retaining walls, barriers, drainage structures, calculate quantities and basic estimating
Review submittals for concrete mix design, work plans for temporary and permanent construction
Perform field surveying
Perform material testing coordination and sampling
Office engineering and document control
**Minimum Requirements** Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
2\+ years' experience in bridge, retaining wall, drainage structure, and roadway/paving construction inspection
Experience in field surveying and material testing and sampling
**Preferred Qualifications** Caltrans experience preferred
PE license a plus
