Our team works to shape and influence some of our world’s most complex and challenging infrastructure\. We also provide complementary services to other AECOM teams working in the sectors of Mining, Transportation, Manufacturing, Industrial and Water\. **Job Summary** The ‘URS Benaim’ business unit focuses on providing value engineering services for the Design and Construct market\. The company has worked collaboratively with contractors to develop several innovative forms of construction and many of its projects have won awards for their excellence\. It also supports public/private sector clients with services including high level value engineering studies, project management, expert witness, client independent engineer and due diligence services\. **Responsibilities:** + Support the Commercial Manager, Project Managers and Project Directors as advised with all financial and administrative aspects\. + Work closely with all commercial team members\. Interact directly with accounting staff, clients and sub\-contractors regarding accounting and financial matters\. + Prepare and advise Project Managers on project set up, project modifications and job closures\. Assist Project Managers with budget tracking\. + Prepare monthly invoices as well as applications and substantiation documents to justify invoicing claims to clients\. Review invoices for consistency with contract requirements and rates\. Follow up and report on accounts receivables and incoming receivables\. Liaise with clients on budget and accounts receivable issues\. Review and track sub\-contractor invoices\. + Set up and maintain registers\. Set up, develop and process spreadsheets\. Assemble and reproduce documents for both external and internal deliverables\. + Assist Commercial Manager and Project Managers with weekly and monthly reporting as well as monthly and annual closure works\. + Timesheet coordination\. Extrapolate staff time and cost information of projects\. + Assist in preparation of fee proposals, client change requests, intercompany agreements, contracts with clients and sub\-consultants as well as contract modifications\. + Support an upcoming system migration\. + Prepare documents and support document control as and when required and perform ad\-hoc duties as assigned\. **Minimum Requirements** + Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics or related discipline\. + A minimum of 5 years working experience\. Experience in accounting and/or project management would be an advantage\. + Excellent command of English\. + Quick learner with strong problem solving, accounting and numerical, communicational and organizational skills\. + Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets and data base management\. **Preferred Qualifications** + Proactive, conscientiousand a strong sense of responsibility and teamwork\. + Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines at all times\. + Experience in construction industry or civil engineering projects, with consultants or contractors is an advantage\. + Immediate availability is preferred\. **What We Offer** AECOM is a place where you can put your innovative thinking and business skills into high gear and work alongside other highly intelligent and motivated people\.
