We create implementable solutions that promote sustainable land use and enhance quality of life\. **Job Summary** The Design and Planning Division of AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented CADD Designer for immediate employment in the Columbus, OH office\. The appropriately qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate an established career in CADD Design\. Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to: + Preparation of drawing basemaps utilizing a third party survey file \- This will include the interpretation of the data, development and confirmation of data, and creation of contours and line work + Preparation of construction drawings for site developments and utilities AutoCAD Civil 3D + Reviewing utility company record plans and incorporating information into the basemapping + Preparation of exhibits, sketches, and other documents utilized for planning and presentation **Minimum Requirements** + Associate's degree or completion of technical trade school courses, or equivalent experience + 2\+ years of relevant civil drafting or design experience + Bachelor’s degree can substitute for four years of experience + Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D with some exposure to Microstation and GIS + Advanced technical knowledge of drafting techniques and training in CAD and spreadsheet software + Understanding of vendor documents and uses them as a reference for assigned tasks + Basic knowledge of the use of requisitions and the role of materials management + Basic knowledge of the process of performing material take\-offs for the discipline + Basic understanding of the discipline’s equipment and material lists + Valid driver's license required + Experience working on Federal projects **Preferred Qualifications** + Occasional travel for up to a week may be necessary with this position **What We Offer** AECOM is a place where you can put your innovative thinking and business skills into high gear and work alongside other highly intelligent and motivated people\.
