Minimum Requirements: Minimum Requirements:
1. High school diploma or demonstrated equivalent.
2. Three years of experience as an HVAC maintenance technician in a commercial or industrial environment, or demonstrated equivalent combination of education and experience.
3. EPA Universal certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience working with electrical voltage up to 480V 3 phase.
2. Experience repairing and installing controls as related to air handling systems.
3. Experience with minor plumbing repairs.
4. Experience with Building Automation Systems, Siemens.
5. Experience with steam up to 50 psi and associated components.
6. Experience with DX Split Systems and package units.
7. Experience with reading prints and schematics.
8. Experience with cafe style refrigeration systems.
9. Experience with chillers and chilled water systems.

Physical Requirements:
• Requires the ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
• Requires the ability to regularly climb extension ladders, roof ladder, stepladders, and stairs at least 10 times during shift.
• Requires the flexibility to bend/stoop, squat repetitive during shift.
• Requires the ability to regularly kneel repetitive for shift.
• Requires the ability to move in a 90-degree fashion on a repetitive basis for shift.
• Requires the ability to stretch/reach on a repetitive basis for shift.
• Requires the ability to walk extensively throughout the plant during shift.
• Requires the use of a Company/Client approved utility knife.
• Requires the ability to differentiate colors pertaining to wire color-coding.
• Some tasks will require repetitive wrist movement.
• Requires the ability to interact with all clients in a professional and friendly manner despite periods of stress.

• Wear steel toe safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves and other Personal Protective Equipment as needed.

Job Description: URS, an AECOM company, is seeking a 1st shift HVAC/R maintenance technician in Peoria, IL! Typical work hours are 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM; hours may vary based on business demand.
This position works 12-hour shifts on a schedule rotation of 3 days on and 3 days off, 1 day on and 3 days off, 3 days on and 1 day off for a 2-week pay period.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: performing preventive/corrective maintenance on a wide variety of facility related equipment. Must be a self-motivated individual. Must have the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot ventilation equipment, pumps, fans, chillers, rooftop AHU’s, DX split systems, compressors, café style refrigeration equipment including ice machines, coolers, freezers, etc. in an industrial environment. Strong mechanical / electrical / refrigeration & air-conditioning skills are required, as is the ability to work safely with 3-phase power up to and including 480V. Must be able to troubleshoot and diagnose electrical circuits ranging from 24V AC/DC and up, including lighting and load centers.
