**About the Business Line** **Water**
We create comprehensive delivery solutions for water, wastewater and wet weather systems, desalination, water resources, water reuse, tunneling, and community infrastructure through traditional and alternative delivery services such as program management and design\-build\.
**Job Summary** AECOM is seeking a senior level water engineer to join our Qatar based project\. Based on site, this role will involve reviewing and responding to Contractor’s Technical Queries on Wet and Dry utilities\. The work may also include coordination of and carrying out design calculations and preparations of design drawings, specifications and other relevant information on water and wastewater related fields such as drainage and pressurised systems\. The job requires experience in Wet and Dry Utility coordination\.
Work responsibilities will involves but not be limited to the following:
+ Ensure compliance with all Statutory and Regulatory obligations, make submissions to the Statutory Authorities and obtain approvals as necessary\.
+ Ensure that all calculations are prepared and signed off in accordance with the requirements of the QA/QC system, relevant Standards and Codes of Practice\.
+ Compile design reports, specifications, drawings and any other Contract Documents required\.
+ Work independently to produce designs and specifications as part of a project team
+ Assist in the preparation of bids
+ Develop time and cost schedules for projects
+ Undertake designer’s risk assessments as required at the appropriate stages\.
+ Deliver projects on time and within budget\. Work within financial and programme constraints\. Consider financial implications in producing design options\.
+ Ensure design is fully coordinated and that internal Design Teams are kept fully informed of all relevant technical and other information\.
+ Maintain good communication and cooperate with all project team members\.
+ Liaise and maintain good communicationwith Client and other Stakeholders as necessary\.Ensure client satisfaction in project delivery with a view to obtaining repeat business\.
+ Establish and maintaining effective working relationships with staff/Team
+ Work may include field data collection and support on preparation of reports and design documents
+ Provide Construction Management, site supervision and Operations Management on specific projects as required\.
+ Gather and maintain market and technical knowledge, and share it with other Department members providing the know\-how to clients and other staff members\.
**Minimum Requirements**
+ Minimum 10 years of post\-qualification experience\.
+ Experience in Water supply, foul sewerage, stormwater drainage, Pump stations and treatment plants is preferred\.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Bachelors Degree in Civil engineering\. Masters degree in Civil Engineering or a related field preferred\.
