Position Description:
AECOM is seeking a System Administrator to Manage and maintain computer operating systems/networks with latest patches, security updates, and requirements per Government Information Assurance regulations. Will execute the following tasking:
-Will perform Information Technology Specialist work managing the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems, networks, or data through the planning, analysis, development, implementation, maintenance, or enhancement of information systems security programs, policies, procedures, and tools.
-Will execute Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGS)
-Will develop custom offline virus scanning kiosk (LIVE) DVD ISO, boots to RAM and runs in forensics mode disabling network and hard drive interfaces.
-Will develop Red Hat and EPEL local repository synchronization process to update offline and cRDTE Red Hat WS
-Will provide managerial support to projects and end users on policies or procedures for eliminating information security vulnerabilities as well as instructing personnel on identifying and correcting compromises in information technology systems.
-Will provide the required automated network vulnerability scanning, configuration assessment, application vulnerability scanning, and device configuration assessment to ensure SCAP compliance by using the Tenable Network Security Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS).
-Execute on the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) for Certification and Accreditation (C&A) on DON information systems.
-Perform IT security with a broad range of security technologies including but not limited to: (HBSS & SEE) next generation Firewalls (e.g. Web Application - layer 7), Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Identity and Access Management (IAM), Threat Intelligence, Governance Risk Compliance (GRC), risk assessments, end points, servers, database, encryption, key & certificate management, virtualization, mobility, and cloud security.
