**Job Summary** We are one of the world's leading engineering and environmental consultants; offering professional planning, engineering and architectural design, environmental, as well as construction and programme management services throughout the UK and internationally\. We are currently recruiting for a Senior Revit technician to join our London Wimbledon office\.
As a Senior Revit Technician you will be involved in various structural engineering based projects, responsible for the production of Revit based drawings on all projects to accurately illustrate structural designs\.
responsibilities will include:
•Liaise with the engineers to determine drawings and details to be prepared\.
•Interact with Client representatives, professional design team, contractors and others as necessary to effectively understand the requirements of the project\.
•Co\-ordination of drawings with the design team\.
•Supervise trainee design staff and allocate tasks\.
•Ensure that drawings are prepared and that they are suitable for the purpose\.
•Verification of final output; checking of drawings\.
•Ensure that drawings are prepared in line with company standards\.
•Understand the Quality Management System and apply it to all project work\.
•Understand roles and responsibilities in respect of quality system compliance\.
**Minimum Requirements** The role requires an understanding of the principles of structural engineering design and the ability
to prepare drawings of all forms of building structure\.
• Knowledge of refurbishment projects\.
• Knowledge of new build projects\.
• A minimum of 5 years experience with HNC / HND in civil engineering or equivalent\.
• A minimum of 3 years experience with REVIT
• Knowledge of BIM and application to building structures
• Ability to supervise and train Trainee Technicians\.
