**Job Summary** AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Finance Manager for immediate employment for the Los Angeles, CA office\. This position will be reporting directly to the L\.A\. Metro Area Finance Manager\. AECOM is proud to provide our employees with exciting, challenging projects\.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below:
+ Supervise a staff of project accounting professionals, as well as effectively partner with operations and supporting functional teams to support the delivery of projects on time and on budget
+ Responsible for ensuring proper controls are in place for assessing project performance, managing and motivating the staff and influencing key contributors in the estimate at completion process
+ Engage in the monthly financial planning and analysis processes to support the area including: managing the financial forecasting process for the area, supporting the development of analysis / products for financial reporting for area, region and corporate level reviews, and the review of overhead costs that impact the area
+ Assist in the preparation of weekly revenue run rate analysis and comparison to monthly expectations
+ Assist with other monthly close process
+ Review revenue backup and track the processing of the related monthly events
+ Perform monthly SG&A and indirect labor cost reviews to ensure accuracy in cost coding
+ Support working capital action plans in the district by engaging in billings and collections meetings with district leaders
+ Assist with execution plans and project performance reviews to drive and follow up on outstanding actions
+ Perform financial reporting for both finance and area leadership
+ schedule and administer meetings with project teams where deep dive project reviews are required
+ Assist with annual budgeting process
+ Engage in monthly reviews with project managers and/or project delivery teams on the status of projects
+ Ensure proper project setup, project monitoring, system updating and closeout
+ Assist project managers with the preparation and regular monthly update of the estimate at completion
+ Perform weekly project analysis, costing reviews and regular financial reports for project management review
**Minimum Requirements**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
+ 8\+ years' related experience
+ Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to influence
+ Experience supervising a finance team
+ Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Excel
+ Experience using Oracle
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Professional designation in finance or business, like MBA, preferred
