Job Description: AECOM is hiring for a Systems Engineer position for our office at Robins AFB, Georgia. Responsibilities: Candidate will be the liaison for the Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve Test Center (AATC) activities related to the modernization efforts related to ANG/AFR C-130 within the C-130 Systems Program Office. The position will coordinated these activities between the ANG/AFR leadership and the leadership of the C-130 Systems Program Office (SPO) by providing Advisory and Assistance Service the SPO at Robins AFB, GA, including engineering, technical, and logistics support for the electrical systems, avionics and defensive systems, mechanical systems and structural programs on the C-130 aircraft. Specifically, tasks will include ensuring WR-ALC receives engineering and technical support for aircraft avionics, defensive systems, mechanical and structural systems support as well as technical support for current and future modification programs to include the center wing box replacement program on the C-130 aircraft to maintain aircraft mission readiness, initiation and execution of acquisition/management actions, tracking requirements throughout all acquisition phases, program documentation and identifying unallocated and improperly allocated requirements. This position shall provide engineering and equipment specialist sustainment support and engineering modification support for the C-130 aircraft. All tasks will be in support of the National Guard Bureau and the Air National Guard Air Force Reserve Command Test Center (AATC). The successful candidate will provide expertise in the following areas: acquisition and life cycle management, requirements formulation and tracking, financial management, C-130 current and future systems and architectures, test requirements, modification paperwork. Candidate will operate in multidisciplinary teams of industry, government and military personnel consisting of engineers, analysts, scientists, pilots and other aircrew.
