Job Description: AECOM has several opportunities for a Compliance Manager to join our team at Stennis Space Center in Mississippi!
Purpose and Scope:
Provide for and deliver health care services in a research and development work environment, requiring independent judgments focusing in protection of human test subjects in accordance with the National Institute for Occupational Safety and health (NIOSH) Human Subject Review Board (HSRB).
Essential Responsibilities:
1. Providing medical support to the NIOSH National Personal Protective Technology Laboratory (NPPTL) to ensure the safety of human test subjects during the testing of personal protective equipment.
2. Working in conjunction with other site personnel during testing of personal protective equipment to ensure protection of human test subjects in accordance with required test protocol, to include observance of testing in order to maintain a level of understanding of what the subjects undergo during testing.
3. Monitoring human test subject vitals and providing medical support on-site or maintaining a ready available status when requested in order to maintain the safety and health of test subjects, to include use of advanced cardiac life support (ACLS). A ready available status requires immediate response within five minutes from receipt of request for support.
4. Ensuring that the on-site Emergency Crash Cart contains the appropriate medications and related materials to perform full cardio-pulmonary resuscitation according to the current American Health Association ACLS protocols.
5. Providing reports, reviews of study protocols, publications or assistance to the physiology program on an as needed basis in support of the NPPTL mission.
