Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in ES&H-related field, such as Environmental Engineering, Safety, Health or Industrial Hygiene, Safety Management or other related sciences, or demonstrated equivalent. This is an advanced management position with at least 15 (fifteen) years of position related experience with proven supervisory/administrative skills. Certification in CIH, CSP, CHMM, PE or CHP is required. Good written communication skills; working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications; organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work are required. Position may require travel. Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.
Job Description: URS, an AECOM Company, is submitting our proposal to provide “Test Evaluation and Support Team 2” services to the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), at White Sands, New Mexico. Contract operations are anticipated to commence in the second quarter, CY-2016.
The Senior ES&H Manager performs general environmental and/or safety support services, investigations and analyses and other directed assignments. Develops, implements and administers safety, health, environmental protection, and substance abuse prevention programs affecting employee and public safety, occupational health, fire protection and prevention, and equipment and property protection. Serves as a resource for line management to develop and administer a proactive prevention program for accidents and illnesses. Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
