**Job Summary**
AECOM is currently seeking a highly qualified and experienced Senior Resident Engineer to be based in Qatar to work on a major highways project\. This role provides direction and management of site based supervision teams on a large\-scale fast\-track project and ensures timely and quality resolutions to all site/construction issues in accordance with contractual obligations\.
Duties & Responsibilities:
+ Coordinating with the Construction Supervision Director\.
+ Acting as the Company representative with the Client and Contractors during the project construction\.
+ Maintaining Project Execution Plan, Health & Safety Plan, Quality Control Plan and other documents\.
+ Working with the Construction Services Director, establishing the program requirements for all areas of the project and monitoring site staff performance\.
+ Planning, directing, supervising and controlling the execution of technical, fiscal and administrative functions of the project and the site team\.
+ Assigning responsibility to key subordinates in their respective fields of expertise\.
+ Providing input to performance reviews and developing plans for subordinates\.
+ Working with other Managers, Project Engineers and discipline Heads to develop budgets, schedules and plans for the various elements of the project\.
+ Monitoring and reporting to management on the progress of all project activities within the program, including significant milestones and any conditions, which would affect project cost, schedule and performance or Client relation\.
+ Establishing internal weekly meetings to review project status and formulate action items\.
+ Performing other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate\.
+ Representing the company in Client meetings\.
**Minimum Requirements** A minimum of 20 years of related senior construction supervision management experience on Roads / Highways / Bridges / Tunnels and Infrastructure projects with a broad general engineering background of at least 10 years chartered experience is essential\.
**Preferred Qualifications** A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and a Professional Engineering or Chartered Engineering \(CEng\) registration is required\.
