**Job Summary** As the Ventilation and Air Conditioning design team leader responsible for performing the following tasks:
+ Review and supplement the details given in DPR mainly on ventilation and air conditioning considering the operational efficiency, maintainability, cost performance, etc\.
+ Review and supplement the DBR for ventilation and air conditioning requirements prepared by the IC\.
+ Review & supplement aspects pertaining to ventilation and air conditioning design of all u/g stations and tunnels prepared by the IC\.
+ Review & supplement the outline ventilation and air conditioning design of the administration buildings, inspection sheds, maintenance sheds and other depot buildings and structures prepared by the IC\.
+ Prepare tender documents \(ventilation and air conditioning design requirements\) for the depot contract \(Phase 2\)\.
+ Prepare preliminary design and Tender design for Tunnel ventilation System \(TVS\) & Environment Control system \(ECS\)\.
+ Prepare PQ document for shortlisting the bidders for TVS & ECS tender\.
+ Get fully involved in the PQ process and evaluation of PQ applications for preparing PQ evaluation report for shortlisting the bidders for TVS & ECS tender\.
+ Prepare technical portion of the tender documents for TVS & ECS
+ Get fully involved in the tendering process for TVS & ECS tender and evaluation of tenders for preparing tender evaluation report for award of the contract for TVS & ECS works\.
+ Review / proof check the ventilation and air conditioning designs of all the underground metro stations and tunnels from the D&B TVS & ECS Contractor\.
+ Work with the Civil and Systems team to make sure the contractor’s design meets the system installation and operational requirements\.
+ Handle day\-to\-day technical matters related to ventilation and air conditioning design aspects during the construction\.
+ Attend meetings with Client's senior management and contractors and other stake holders\.
+ Manage the ventilation and air conditioning supervision team during the construction stage for review of equipment / plant submissions, method statements, supervision and monitoring of the ventilation and air conditioning related works to ensure compliance with requirements and consistency in all E&M and Systems’ elements of the project\.
+ Get fully involved in integrated testing and Testing & commissioning of the Corridor as necessary\.
+ Contribute in preparation/finalization of relevant O&M manual\.
+ Contribute in planning the training for O&M staff\.

**Minimum Requirements**
+ Overall experience should be 20 years out of which a minimum 10 years experience in Tunnel Ventilation System , Smoke Ventilation and Air\-conditioning, TVS SCADA, Building SCADA, SES and CFD Simulations of Underground Metro Rail Stations and Tunnels\. Any additional Mechanical services such as Fire Protection System and Plumbing & Drainage System is an added advantage\.
+ The client requires the candidate to possess specific contemporary experience in TVS and Air\-conditioning System credential on u/g metro stations should include TVS, Smoke Ventilation, Supply and Extract Ventilation systems, Chilled water systems, SCADA Systems etc\. and assist the client in Government Tender Process\.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ The candidate should have basic degree as MECHANICAL Engineering\.
