**About the Business Line** **Transportation**
We provide professional services in areas such as aviation, transit, freight rail, highways and bridges, planning, and ports and marine\. Our global network of top\-tier specialists delivers comprehensive services over the full life cycle of a project to benefit clients in government and private industries\.
**Job Summary** Responsible for monitoring conformance to quality, performance, and/or code requirements by performing inspection duties\. Performs daily field inspections\. Maintains inspection records\. Participates in punch lists, testing, and commissioning\. Tracks quality assurance progress\. Provides input to documentation for area and equipment turnovers\. Inspects construction progress which may include ensuring procedures and materials comply with specifications; observes work in progress to assure conformance with requirements and acceptable workmanship\. Responsibilities may include: reviews contract plans and specifications for compliance with appropriate building codes and project requirements\. Observation of work for compliance with contract documents, reviewing and responding to shop drawing submittals, responding to request for information, clarifications, proposals, and change orders\. Assisting with review and reconciliation of construction schedules\. Scheduling updates and contractor payments\. Observe testing and review test results for conformance with technical specifications, confirming quantities for pay applications, and assisting with verification of project completion milestones and contract closeout/commissioning\.
