**About the Business Line** **Water**
We create comprehensive delivery solutions for water, wastewater and wet weather systems, desalination, water resources, water reuse, tunneling, and community infrastructure through traditional and alternative delivery services such as program management and design\-build\.
**Job Summary** • Support design and specification development for electrical power and distribution systems, lighting and low tension systems \(fire alarm, telecommunications and security\) focused in low voltage \(600V or less\)\.
• Support design and specification of instrumentation and process control devices for various processes including water/wastewater treatment and industrial applications\.
• Knowledge of network, cable plant and wireless technology applications is an asset to be considered\.
• Assist in the design team achieving engineering deliverables \(e\.g\., drawings, specifications, analysis\) comply with applicable regulations, standards, corporate procedures and sound engineering practices\.
• Work closely with other members of the EIC Design team and other disciplines as an integrated multi\-disciplinary project delivery team
• Provide design and contract document production support as required\.
**Minimum Requirements** • University Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized post\-secondary institution;
• 1 \- 3 years related industry experience with institutional, commercial or light industrial projects\.
• High level language skills both written and verbal\.
• Experience with a variety of computer aided design platforms including AutoCAD and Microsoft package for the production of contract documents
• Familiar with the use of various design software \(lighting design or power analysis\) is an asset\.
**Preferred Qualifications** • Registration with APEGA as EIT is preferred
