Position Description Knowledge/compliance experience with 29 CFR 1910, 1926, NFPA 101 Life Safety Code and NEC 70E, OSHA 10 or 30-hour certifications. Will be required to review ES&H Plans submitted for site construction work for completeness in regard to the requirements of the NETL ES&H requirements for offsite contractors and provide written comments to DOE ESS&HD representative. Work with DOE SOD, ESS&HD and offsite contractors to complete task-by-task review of new construction work and complete Activity Hazard Analyses as necessary. Conduct inspections of site construction projects with an emphasis on compliance with applicable OSHA standards and NETL procedures and directives. This may include interaction with the offsite contractor line management and coordination with DOE Site Operations Division personnel. Provide pre-job ES&H briefings to offsite contractor employees as needed. Provide support to ESS&HD in regard to support operations Safety Analysis and Review System (SARS) packages as needed. Will be required to develop and/or present various safety and health training courses. Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
