Job Description: We are currently accepting applications for the position of Academic Instructor and/or Simulator Instructor. These are contingent positions based upon the expected contract award and subsequent Task Orders.
This work will be performed in support of the United States Army Security Assistance Training Management Organization (USASATMO) Aviation Training Contract.
Objective: URS' objective is to provide agile, specialized and cost effective Security Assistance Teams (SATs) in order to facilitate security assistance programs that build partnership capacity as well as defense and security relationships that promote specific U.S. security interests, including all security assistance activities; develop allied and friendly military capabilities for self-defense and multinational operations; and provide U.S. forces with peacetime and contingency access to host nations in support of United Stats Army Campaign Plan and U.S. national security objectives.
Scope: URS will provide services, either in the form of aviation training or technical advice to approved foreign countries. Those services shall be performed on site of the purchasing country OCONUS. Services performed will be wide reaching in scope from basic flight crew skills to highly technical flight and operational planning skills. These services will be defined in Task Orders delivered by the U.S. Army on an as needed basis and can range in period of performance to a few weeks to a few years with the majority lasting approximately one year. The performance of these services will be mostly OCONUS with time spent before and after in CONUS and mostly at Fort Rucker, Alabama.
