**About the Business Line** **Government**
AECOM’s Global Support Services \(GSS\) organization resides within AECOM's Government business line and is comprised of three divisions — International Development, Operations and Mission Support, and Global Programs\. GSS has the international presence, personnel networks and procurement infrastructure to deliver support for any mission, anywhere\. We optimize the reliability, availability and sustainability of equipment, logistics systems and facilities for clients around the world\. GSS supports the U\.S\. Government, non\-U\.S\. Governments and industry clients with worldwide program management, planning, design, operations and maintenance, logistics, aviation services, security, international development, environmental and civil engineering and mission and intelligence support\.
**Job Summary** CADD Technician is responsible for updating and management of CAD drawings, and supporting various customers in accordance to our Statement of Work
+ Working with an engineering team to complete revisions and update CAD drawings of architectural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems\.
+ Revise CAD drawings from redlines as needed\.
+ Provide support for Project Manager, Project Specialist or Design Specialist in areas including the interpretation of project documents, estimate, equipment selection, submittal organization, etc\. as needed\.
+ Perform necessary field\-work required to gather data to update CAD drawings and the Knowledge Center \(KC\), which include polylinning CAD drawings to create the relationships between an Archibus database \(Object orientated database that supports the KC\) with the associated CAD drawings\.
**Minimum Requirements**
+ Proficient with AutoCAD 2002 or higher\.
+ Knowledge of drafting and CAD standards of building systems with specific emphasis on Electrical, HVAC, and Mechanical \(which includes the following: Plumbing, Fire Control System, High Pressure Steam & Condensate Systems, Chill Water Cooling\) General understanding of databases and their functionality\.
+ Ability to configure and debug basic computer problems\.
Education:
+ Two year technical degree / equivalent experience in drafting, HVAC or Electrical or Plumbing related studies\. An undergraduate degree in Electrical or Mechanical related studies is preferred\.
Experience:
+ 1 – 2 years of CAD employment\.
Security:
+ Must be a U\.S\. Citizen, able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance
