Requires knowledge of computer operating software programs. Must have ability to meet physical demands and pass any related medical examination requirements required to perform daily assigned tasks. Must pass a U.S. Government background security check and be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance. “Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English” “Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English” Job Description: Performs aviation maintenance material control functions in support of the assigned aircraft, engines, ALSS, support equipment and flight designated personnel. 1. Maintains aircraft and engine logbooks and associated records. 2. Proficient performing all operator, data entry and retrieval functions associated with aircraft recordkeeping. 3. Performs networking functions between individual stations, including analysis and correction of errors caused by software, hardware or data entry. 4. Transmits and receives data via floppy disk, modem and other electronic means. 5. Extracts data, formulates and interprets management reports, creates archives, backups, and data saves in support of military deployments and detachment operations. 6. Performs a wide range of clerical and administrative duties related to aircraft maintenance, such as preparing reports and correspondence, filing and typing, performing database and systems analysis. 7. Perform tool room management in accordance with Tool Control Program (acting as Tool Control Program Coordinator), Metrology and Calibration (METCAL) Program, Individual Material Readiness List (IMRL) Program Coordinator. 8. Perform Hazardous Material Control and Management Supervisor requirements. Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
