Experience with USMC or other Services is desired; USMC preferred. Experience providing programmatic support within a DoD acquisition program environment is desired. Good written communication skills; a working knowledge of word processing and integrated software office applications; organizational skills and ability to perform detail oriented work are required. Working knowledge of MS Office Applications required. Working knowledge of Sharepoint, Automated Message Handling System (AMHS), Defense Travel System and Adobe desired. Current understanding of Naval Correspondence Manual desired. Good written communication skills, organizational skills and ability to perform detail oriented work are required. The position will require ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. Current clearance is highly desired. Job Description: AECOM is seeking a Marine Corps Administrative Specialist to support a Marine Corps Systems Command Enterprise agency/activity. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing meetings, conferences; providing administrative and operational support, assisting with working groups, scheduling meetings; preparing deployment packages, travel requests and report development; and planning, coordinating, and hosting program management meetings. The selected candidate will also be responsible for providing General Support, consisting of developing and drafting program management correspondence; ensuring that Government directed documentation is developed, drafted, and in compliance with Marine Corps, Navy, and Joint requirements; developing and preparing briefing materials for Government meetings with various echelons of management and with external agencies; and maintaining electronic and hard copy files. Candidate will provide administrative support to include recurring reports and day to day administrative reports at the Program Manager, Assistant Commander or other Executive level. The selected candidate will be responsible for the comprehensive administrative support of acquisition programs; will interface with acquisition, engineering and other technical professionals’ administration of various acquisition documents; and will provide oversight for in-house review workflows. Responsibilities will include the tracking and monitoring of the flow for all documents from inception to the distribution of final copies; the identification and correcting of clerical and administrative problems as they arise; the providing of final quality assurance checks for deliverable documents; the utilization of appropriate computer software applications needed to create and produce programmatic documents; and the investigation and implementing of best practices to produce documentation electronically. The prospective candidate will have demonstrable aptitudes and abilities to provide administrative support that fits customer requirements; identify and define administrative issues and risks, and present them to appropriate Government, or prime contractor, group for resolution; work with Government Program intranet portal developers toward an effective document library. The areas of desired knowledge to include, but not limited to: program administrative, and data management support.
