The Area Manager reports directly to a District Manager; The Area Manager is required to work with limited supervision and must be familiar with the applicable strategic plans and take the necessary initiative to execute such plans. In addition, the Area Manager's responsibilities will include but are not limited to: • Responsible to ensure all work within a specific geographic area is performed in accordance with the company’s approved practices and processes as outlined in various applicable documents including the company safety manual, the Workface Planning Manual, the Human Resource Policy Manual, etc. • Responsible for the collection and reporting of all financial information pertaining to the assigned area as per the scorecard targets including budget analysis, variance tracking, cut off analysis, revenue recognition and DSO tracking • In partnership with the applicable service lines and corporate functions, ensuring that the area manpower needs are forecasted and appropriate plans are in place to recruit, develop and retain a workforce in order to meet the strategic targets for the area • Responsible for maintaining and maximizing the utilization of equipment, land and buildings as assigned by the service lines and applicable corporate groups in accordance with the organizational and regional strategic plans • Proven leadership skills with a demonstrated history of building high performing teams. • Solid understanding of the various service lines and applicable operational requirements. • Knowledge of the company’s financial management processes including knowledge of the company’s financial reporting requirements and budgeting processes. • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills with exposure to business development practices. • Project Management skills with exposure to the Workface Planning Program. • Strong self-management behaviors including the ability to manage stress while projecting a professional approach to all parts of the role. • Minimal Supervision: The Area Manager role will be required to work with limited supervision and as a result will need to be familiar with the applicable strategic plans and take the necessary initiative to execute the plans. • Creates and owns an operating budget We invite you to take the next step toward THE BEST WORK OF YOUR LIFE EOE M/F/Disability/Veteran
