**Job Summary** AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Scheduler for immediate employment in the Morrisville, NC office\. The appropriately qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate knowledge of planning and scheduling concepts and principles, including effects on financial performance, the understanding of concepts and principles of scope control, change management and earned value methodology\. The incumbent can look forward to involvement in multiple on\-going projects in various phases of engineering design and/or construction phases\.
Scheduler responsibilities/duties include the following:
• Candidate will create and analyze project schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project software under supervision
• Will be actively monitoring any possible project issues that could delay the schedule
• Supports analysis of schedule and identifies and investigates project schedule variances
• Collects and updates data and updates and produces scheduling reports
• Assists in the development and maintenance of work breakdown structure \(WBS\)
• Supports activities to implement applicable coding and basic schedule development
• Supports measurement of project schedule progress
• Gathers and assembles data for schedule and network updating
• Gathers data for schedule baseline development and maintenance
• Master schedule development and tracking
• Supports monthly report preparation
• May participates in meetings to gain insight on planning and scheduling issues
**Minimum Requirements**
+ Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture or relevant industry experience
+ Minimum 2 years of relevant industry experience as a Scheduler providing scheduling services on a construction project or program or on multiple construction projects\.
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to convey thoughts clearly and concisely\.
+ Ability to work toward tight deadlines in a team environment\.
+ Working knowledge of Primavera P3 and P6 programs
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture or relevant
+ Power industry construction experience
