**About the Business Line** **Environment**
Our team of environment specialists offers clients expertise in air quality, impact analysis and permitting, environmental health and safety management consulting/due diligence, remediation consulting/engineering and construction/site restoration, specialty and emerging technologies, waste services and water and natural resources\.
**Job Summary** Our EHS Management & Sustainability team in Belgium currently has an exciting vacancy for a Senior EHS & Sustainability consultant\. You can be based either in our Leuven or Ghent office and work in a dynamic team which undertakes a wide variety of projects for mainly international private sector clients based in Belgium and abroad\. These projects involve, but are not limited to environmental and Due Diligence auditing, permitting, analyse, assess and apply the appropriate and actual \(Belgian\) environmental legislations\.
As Senior EHS&S Consultant:
+ You have the role of “Seller\-Doer” and will represent the AECOM in the acquisition of new clients and/or consolidation of projects by maintaining a strong client network and cross\-selling;
+ You act as a Project Manager being responsible for the operational, technical and financial management of your projects;
+ You support the Team Leader with training and mentoring of Junior colleagues; and
+ You report directly to your Team Leader\.

**Minimum Requirements**
+ You have successfully completed a Bachelor or Master degree in Bio Engineering or another technical, environmental or chemical field of study;
+ You have solid knowledge of current EHS legislation;
+ You demonstrate excellent analytical and report writing skills\.
+ You can work in a confidential and sensitive environment\.
+ You are a Dutch/French native speaker with very good knowledge and writing skills in English and French/Dutch;
+ You have minimum 7 years working experience in a similar role within the EHS consultancy;
+ You deliver what you promised to your client, on budget, within timeframe and with top quality
+ You demonstrate strong commercial awareness, negotiation and \(client\) communication skills;
+ You have experience with service type of contracts
+ You are confident and have proven experience with acquisition of new clients and business development in order to further grow our business; and
+ You are eager to travel frequently within Belgium and occasionally abroad to meet the needs of specific projects\.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ You have \(or are finalizing\) an additional degree as prevention advisor and/or as environmental coordinator\.
