**About the Business Line** **Program, Cost, Consultancy**
We provide cost and project management services, and specialist consultancy services, to public\- and private\-sector clients around the world, with a strong presence in Africa, Australia and New Zealand, Europe, the Middle East and the United States\.
**Job Summary** AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Senior Cost Consultant for immediate employment for the San Francisco, CA office\. AECOM is proud to provide our employees with exciting, challenging projects\.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below:
+ Prepare accurate and detailed construction cost and project cost estimates from conceptual design through final construction document level design
+ Research prices on material and labor using published documents, local conditions, market studies, etc\.
+ Partner with management team in developing new customers and growing existing customer base
+ Develop and nurture subcontractor/vendor and client relationships
+ Assist in development of junior to mid\-level team members
+ Provide value engineering services, set up work breakdown structure, and prepare task orders
+ Review, estimate, and reconcile change orders, often with contractor’s or a peer review estimator
+ Prepare detailed bid analysis and review
+ Depending on need and ability, may be tasked with overseeing a specific base of clients
**Minimum Requirements**
+ Bachelor's Degree
+ Interact extremely well with many different client types
+ Advanced skill level in Excel and intermediate knowledge of Windows, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Outlook
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Must be detail oriented, thorough, well organized and effectively manage time
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management/Engineering, Civil/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Quantitative Surveying, or Architecture is highly preferred
+ Knowledge of On Screen Takeoff, Revit, CAD Measure is a plus
+ Knowledge of Success, M2 and PACES Estimating Software is a plus
+ Experience with Army, Navy, Air force and GSA is a plus
+ Certified MRICS
