We pride ourselves on ensuring we deliver the best customer service possible to our people while building trust and relationships with all of our constituents\. **Job Summary** **Role Summary** AECOM has an exciting opportunity for a Project Biller to join our Finance and Accounting team based in Brisbane\. This role is responsible for the billing side of the working capital requirements as well as assisting with process improvements within AECOM’s Billing & Collections Systems \(ABC\)\. The Project Biller will be responsible for the invoicing of a portfolio of projects with varying sizes and types supporting a group of Project Finance representatives\. Project work is expected to adjust and fluctuate according to the changing needs of the finance department therefore; the successful candidate will need the ability to respond swiftly to such fluctuations and changes\. **Minimum Requirements** **Key responsibilities:** •Perform invoice preparation per contract requirements for project portfolio; including review and processing of ABC workflow based instructions from Project Managers, preparation of draft invoices for Project Manager review, assemble backup per client requirement, distribute final invoice to Client, Project Manager and file according to Project Manager Instructions •Work with PFRs on unbilled balances to ensure timely billing of transactions and be able to explain any unbilled balances using the ABC timeline coding system\.\.\. •Update and track daily billing progress •Interact with internal & intra\-office departments to resolve project specific discrepancies •Work with and support PFRs to ensure that project billing set up in Oracle complies with requirements for ABC billing, if necessary including update client / project client database and contact details bill rates, transaction controls and non\-billable/billable items as per PFR’s instructions •Liaise with the Corporate Credit Control team on outstanding receivables as dictated by project team **Preferred Qualifications** **Skills and Experience** •Relevant tertiary qualification is preferred\. An equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience can be substituted •Five years’ billing experience in an accounting/finance setting is desirable •Basic understanding of accounting principles •Prior experience in Oracle is highly advantageous •Solid understanding of billing requirements per the contract •Intermediate Excel & WORD •Ability to communicate initiatives, results, and analysis to project management •Ability to manage a number of jobs and prioritise deadlines •Strong communication skills oral and written both conveyed with conviction whilst being clear and succinct; •Ability to influence others in a fast paced changing environment; •Attentive and active listener •Experience of managing external client relationships relevant to the role •Ability to use Initiative to find new ways to improve efficiency; results •Maintain an excellent standard of quality on all work performed •Ability to multi\-task in a fast paced environment •Strong organizational skills •Ability to prioritize and perform work with minimal supervision •Excellent customer service skills **What We Offer** AECOM is a place where you can put your innovative thinking and business skills into high gear and work alongside other highly intelligent and motivated people\.
