More information on AECOM and its services can be found at www\.aecom\.com\. **About the Business Line**  **Water** We create comprehensive delivery solutions for water, wastewater and wet weather systems, desalination, water resources, water reuse, tunneling, and community infrastructure through traditional and alternative delivery services such as program management and design\-build\. **Job Summary** AECOM is looking for a suitably qualified Mechanical or Civil Engineer to join the Water business line in our Burnaby office\. The role will be responsible for the following: •  Design of mechanical and/or civil systems associated with municipal water and/or wastewater treatment facilities\. •  Design of mechanical systems associated with lift stations, pump stations and other mechanical equipment associated with water and wastewater utilities\. •  Should have a working knowledge of water / wastewater treatment in a Municipal environment\. •  Additional responsibilities will include client communication and management; assistance with proposal preparation; contract preparation and negotiation; coordination with regulatory agencies; project planning, budgeting, and scheduling\. •  This role will plan, organize, and communicate project task with all project stakeholders including client organizations and within AECOM project team\. •  Assists more senior level engineers in carrying out technical tasks requiring accuracy in calculations, completeness of data and adherence to prescribed analysis, design, or computation methods\. •  Uses a variety of standard engineering methods and techniques in solving problems\. •  Applies standard practices and techniques in specific situations\. Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well\-defined procedures\. •  Exercises judgment limited to developing details of work in making preliminary selections and adaptations of engineering alternatives\. **Minimum Requirements** •  Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering from a recognized tertiary institution •  Minimum of 3 years work experience •  Must be registered as an EIT and working towards attainment of P\.
