More information on AECOM and its services can be found at www\.aecom\.com\. **About the Business Line** **Environment** Our team of environment specialists offers clients expertise in air quality, impact analysis and permitting, environmental health and safety management consulting/due diligence, remediation consulting/engineering and construction/site restoration, specialty and emerging technologies, waste services and water and natural resources\. **Job Summary** We are looking for an enthusiastic individual keen to work within an established acoustics, vibration and air quality team\. Duties will include assisting with the preparation and setting out noise, vibration and air quality measurement equipment, undertaking measurements, downloading and analysing data and writing reports\. Duties would also include organising monitoring equipment and assisting with a range of office based work, including administration\. The successful candidate will be familiar with electronic instrumentation and have excellent report writing, personal organisation and communication skills\. We are looking for someone who is well\-organized and detail oriented, and who can effectively manage their time\. We would expect proficiency in personal computer applications, to include Microsoft Word and Excel, with skills in PowerPoint and / or Access a distinct advantage\. Your duties will include: • Assisting with the preparation and setting out sound, vibration and air quality measurement equipment • Undertaking measurements • Downloading and analysing data • Writing reports\. • Organising laboratory facilities • Assisting with a range of office based work, including administration\. The ideal candidate must be flexible and willing to undertake a range of site work, including out of hours work on occasion and be away from home for short periods of time\. High level of numeracy and literacy Be able to undertake physical duties in an outdoor environment during day and night Desirable skills: Technical knowledge of measurement instrumentation Experience in any of the following: environmental and occpational noise, vibration and air quality monitoring A degree in a suitable technical subject, although people meeting the requirements of the job description with other qualifications and relevant practical experience will also be considered\.
