We provide services such as program management, construction management and owner’s representation to our clients around the globe\. **Job Summary** AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Project Manager for immediate employment for the Sacramento, CA office\. The program will be located in Rancho Cordova,CA\. The successful candidate will support and participate in the development and execution of a major construction program\. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below: + Preparation of construction monthly progress reports for presentations at team and executive session meetings by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing construction data and trends + Monitors design and construction activities + Coordinates with utility companies and permitting agencies as necessary + Leads design meetings with architect and owner team + Receives, reviews and responds to all correspondence + Receives, tracks, and monitors submittals to and from responding parties\. Tracks review times to ensure timely and comprehensive response + Monitors conformance with permits, CEQA and settlement requirements\. Assists with tracking and processing of permits, CEQA and settlements as appropriate\. + Coordinates the schedule for installation and the receipt of the owner furnished equipment with the Contractors’ schedule\. + Work with the client, client representatives, staff and management in a collaborative manner within a context of good human relations + Meets project management operational standards by contributing information on strategic plans and reviews, customer relations issues, implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer\-service standards, resolving problems + Creates procedures to guide staff in meeting project management requirements, encourage continuous improvement and sharing of lessons learned, resolution of project challenges in a collaborative manner, timely reporting of variances to management and the owner, timely recommendations for resolution of project challenges and areas of concern + Provides project progress reports and presentations at client executive session meetings by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing construction and budget data and trends + Avoids legal challenges by understanding and enforcing regulations and recommending new procedures + Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications and maintaining personal networks **Minimum Requirements** + Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Business or equivalent work experience + 10\+ years experience in managing design and construction phases of public works projects + 5\+ years project management experience + Knowledge of design management, scheduling, estimating and client management + Strong working knowledge of California Public Works + Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision This position requires successful completion of the AECOM Project Management Certification program within 6 months of date of hire\.
