**About the Business Line** **Water**
We create comprehensive delivery solutions for water, wastewater and wet weather systems, desalination, water resources, water reuse, tunneling, and community infrastructure through traditional and alternative delivery services such as program management and design\-build\.
**Job Summary** Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
+ Perform specific and limited portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer
+ Apply standard practices and techniques in specific situations, adjust and correlate data, recognize discrepancies in results, and follow operations through a series of related detailed steps or processes
+ Perform standard computations or analysis
+ Contact and coordinate with utility companies on potential conflicts
+ Assist project manager/project engineer in preparation of comprehensive planning documents and report preparation
+ Assist project manager/project engineer in development of construction documents to include plan and profile drawings and technical specifications
+ Assist in preparing regulatory permit applications
**Minimum Requirements**
+ Bachelor of Science degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
+ Capable of functioning with spreadsheet, word processing and standard office software
+ Basic knowledge of industry standard computer software such as AutoCAD, and GIS
+ Valid driver's license required
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Performs assignments requiring application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria to carryout engineering tasks
+ Understand assignments that are designed to further develop judgment and understanding of professionaland ethical responsibilities
+ Exercises judgment limited to developing details of work in making preliminaryselections and adaptations of engineering alternatives
