**Job Summary** Perform the role of Planner for rail bids and projects located predominantly in London\. This role is responsible for the production of Tender Programs as well as the generation and update of project programs throughout the project lifecycle\.
CONTEXT:
This post reports directly to the Project Director and is located in AECOM’s London office with additional responsibility for the activities in the\(sister\) AECOM office in Croydon, The post holder will act as AECOM’s internal Planner and be responsible for controlling and delivering a varied portfolio of concurrent projects\. The post holder will be part of a team delivering projects utilizing resources from AECOM offices in London, other UK offices and sub\-contract resource\. The projects will encompass a wide range of scope, phases and clients\.

**Minimum Requirements**
+ Experience in a planning role within the rail or equivalent sector\.
+ Experience of jobs in excess of £1m implementation costs
+ Experience in design and construction planning
+ Ability to report, analyze, question both down and up the chain
+ Ability to take a wider view “other than planning” of the business
+ Ability to manage process, set standards
+ Experience of working in teams, whether internal or client teams
+ Experience of negotiating commercial, financial and contractual arrangements
+ Experience of change management at project level
+ Experience in Alliancing, partnering and D&B projects preferred
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Preferably have a degree level qualification
+ In\-depth understanding of planning software package P3/P3e
+ In\-depth understanding of planning software package MSP
+ Intermediate or above in use of MS Excel
