More information on AECOM and its services can be found at www\.aecom\.com\. **About the Business Line**  **Water** We create comprehensive delivery solutions for water, wastewater and wet weather systems, desalination, water resources, water reuse, tunneling, and community infrastructure through traditional and alternative delivery services such as program management and design\-build\. **Job Summary** The Infrastructure Services Group is part of AECOM’s Global Water team delivering projects in Linear Infrastructure \(Municipal water, stormwater and wastewater collection and conveyance systems\) design and contract administration, site and functional service designs and contract administration, Linear Infrastructure Condition Assessment, Rehabilitation, Hydraulic Analysis and Modelling, Master Planning, System Optimization, Operational Studies/Improvements and Asset Management etc\. AECOM is providing ongoing support to every major municipality and all Regional governments\. In addition, we provide specialized services in support of AECOM’s projects across the planet\. Because of our commitment to our clients and the excellent projects we deliver, we are experiencing significant growth and are searching for a Practice Leader with extensive skills in linear infrastructure assessment and rehabilitation, possessing at least 15 years of experience in engineering and/or managing linear infrastructure projects to join our team\. Rehabilitation expertise should have a distinct focus on the use of trenchless and minimum excavation technologies\. The candidate possesses good leadership and excellent verbal and written communication skills; and will have successful experience working in a similar role servicing clients in the Greater Toronto Area\. The Condition Assessment and Rehabilitation Specialist will support the Group Manager and Project Manager\(s\) in developing technical solutions to complex water, wastewater and storm rehabilitation projects\. Responsibilities will include: + Provide clear and focused technical leadership, strategic oversight and direction for assessment and rehabilitation of linear infrastructure\. + Develop standards and guidelines in conjunction with the Technical Practice Leader for Linear Infrastructure Condition Assessment and Rehabilitation\. + Actively participate in AECOM Global Technical Practice Network, liaising with other specialists in condition assessment and rehabilitation worldwide\. + Leading and managing linear infrastructure assessments, designs, inspection and construction, particularly relating to existing sanitary sewer and watermain infrastructure + To assist in communicating AECOM’s specialized expertise in condition assessment and rehabilitation through technical papers, participation in key industry committees both regionally and in support of North American technical objectives for the discipline\. + Reviewing designs, contract documents, etc\. to ensure the project quality is met\. + Guiding/mentoring designers, intermediate engineers and junior engineers\. + Coordination with clients and stakeholders + Attending client meetings and assisting with determination of project requirements, coordinating with internal team members as required + Leading and preparing project proposals, RFP’s, tenders, budgets, cash flows and preliminary schedules + Chairing meetings and distributing minutes to project team members and stakeholders + Tracking project progress and quality of work being performed by design disciplines + Monitoring projects plans, work hours, budgets and expenditures + Effectively and accurately communicating relevant project information to the client and project team + Ensuring clients’ needs are met in a timely and cost effective manner + Tracking & managing change notices and change orders + Keeping the Project Manager \(PM\) and others informed about project status and issues that may impact client relations\. + Supporting business development through presenting our capabilities and expertise to potential clients + Understanding corporate goals and ensuring such goals are being implemented at the project level + Working collaboratively across other business lines including Transportation and Buildings and Places and Environment\. **Minimum Requirements** + Minimum 15 years’ experience in designing and/or managing Linear Infrastructure assessment, design, and rehabilitation projects\.
