In the United States, we provide engineering services and critical technical support to virtually every federal agency, including the Departments of Defense, Energy, State and Homeland Security, as well as NASA, the Intelligence Community and the Environmental Protection Agency. The minimum requirements for this position are as follows: Bachelors Degree or equivalent combination of formal/technical/certification training and 2 years focused recruiting and personnel staffing experience. Possess knowledge of on-line recruitment tools and technology. Must possess very effective oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a detailed environment. Possess good organizational skills, produce work that is free of errors and be able to work under deadlines. Must be able to present information clearly to an individual employee, and on occasion, to a small group. Familiarity and experience with Microsoft Office suite. Proficiency in spreadsheet, and graphics/presentation software highly desired. Experience using Virtual Edge and Concur helpful. Must qualify for and maintain a government security clearance and possess a valid, state issued driver’s license. LOCAL CANDIDATES PREFERRED. Job Description: Reporting to a Senior Recruiter or the Recruiting Manager, provide a range of recruiting and staffing services which include preparing job requisitions, screening candidates, interview coordination, offer letter generation, travel and lodging coordination, new hire relocation support and related tasks. Under limited supervision, the Recruiter supports Business Unit-wide contract operations, employment support to JT3,LLC and for URS business development initiatives. •Processes a full range of Recruiting and Staffing actions related to hires, rehires, promotions and transfers based upon posted Employee Requisitions. •Represents the company at recruiting events including, but not limited to, external job fair(s), on-site job fair(s), and college recruiting event(s). •Coordinates applicant interviews and interviewee travel. •Coordinates itineraries and books travel, lodging and rental cars for selected “out-of-state” interviewees. •Reviews and compiles expense reports for valid expenses, accuracy, and completeness and submits for payment. •Coordinates pre-hire drug testing with selected candidates. Supports and coordinates new hire relocation-related arrangements, including temporary lodging. •May initiate requests for Background Checks, Employment verifications and similar requests on behalf of applicants selected for ongoing consideration. •Enters and retrieves data in an on-line Applicant Tracking System (ATS) or other sources of employee information. •Coordinates new hire orientation sessions. •Performs other position related duties as assigned or requested.
